About Us

About Taquwa Soccer Academy

Based in a ghetto community, we use football to build discipline, teamwork, and resilience in young people. Beyond sport, we provide academic support and life skills to help them grow and succeed on and off the pitch. Over 18 players currently benefit from bursaries, while others have advanced to competitive leagues.

Proud winners of the Nakawa Subregion Under-15 UYFA Championship 2024, showcasing the immense talent and hard work of our young athletes.

Education Bursaries

18 academy players currently hold educational bursaries, entirely removing financial barriers that would have otherwise prevented them from continuing their schooling.

Taquwa Select Program

We actively expose our players to university, regional, Big League, and UPL matches. This significantly increases their scouting visibility and enables many to progress into highly competitive leagues.

Free Youth Program

Our dedicated academy coaches train local youth directly in the community. This holistic approach develops their physical, mental, and psychological well-being right alongside their football skills.
